The housing cover of the Carl Valentin Micra is generously sized and allows easy and quick change of ribbons and label rolls. The label printing width of the Micra is up to 106.6mm. Although the housing is not one of the largest, the thermal transfer printer can still accommodate label rolls with a diameter of 127mm and ribbons with a length of 300m. This reduces idle time to a minimum by reducing the need to replace consumables, thus increasing productivity.The Carl Valentin has serial, parallel and USB ports that can be used to send print jobs to the Micra. Optionally, the Micra is available with an Ethernet / LAN interface, which can be used to initiate the printing of barcode labels.
