Panasonic´s Toughbook G2 is bursting with performance. Inside the rugged tablet beats a fast Intel Core i5 processor that is bursting with computing power. Intel´s intelligent Turbo technology clocks the processor at 4.4 GHz and thus ensures decent speed when processing data and executing applications. The standard version of the Toughbook G2 comes with a 16 GB RAM, which supports the high computing power of the Intel processor. A 32 GB RAM is also optionally available. A 512 GB SSD is installed in the tablet as standard, which offers enough space for applications and data. Again, for more flexibility, the storage can be increased by installing a 1 TB SSD module instead of the standard 512 GB module. Windows 10 Pro serves as the operating system, and Windows 11 is optionally available.

When your employees work outdoors, tablets need to be tough to withstand the challenges. In strong sunlight, data cannot be read from many screens, but that is not the case with the Toughbook G2. The Toughbook has an extremely bright display that reaches a brightness of up to 1000 nits in really strong sunlight. Your employees can therefore read from the 10.1 inch display outdoors without worry. To make operation a breeze as well, the touchscreen is very sensitive and can be operated with gloves. It can also be operated in wet conditions. To prevent the tablet from suffering severe damage after a fall, the case has been built tough and robust. With its high drop resistance, the G2 can survive multiple drops from a height of 1.8 meters. The IP65 sealing protects the device from water and dust ingress.

To ensure that the Toughbook G2 fits your processes exactly, the tablet can be adapted to your needs thanks to a mod bay. With the appropriate components, you can equip the mod bay with a serial, LAN or USB port, a 2D barcode scanner or a thermal imaging camera. A compartment on the back offers further space for expansions such as a smart card reader or an RFID scanner. To ensure that your employees always have enough energy left in the Toughbook G2 when on the move, the standard battery achieves a runtime of up to 12 hours. The optionally available high-performance battery even lasts up to 19 hours. Thanks to the hot swap function, your employees can replace the battery while the tablet is in operation without having to shut it down first.
