The Granit™ 1280i full-range laser industrial scanner misses virtually nothing: it reads bar codes at distances from 8.9 cm to 16.5 m. From 7.5-mil paper codes with poor print quality to 100-mil retroreflective codes, it easily decodes virtually all linear bar codes with a wide range of field depths. With its excellent and fast reading performance, intuitive and adjustable target patterns, it ensures fast throughput and optimal productivity.

Like all industrial scanners in the Granite series, the 1280i is specifically designed to work in extreme environmental conditions. The 1280i´s IP65-rated, solid granite housing, which has long been a standard, can withstand 5,000 impacts (1-m spin drum) and 50 drops to concrete from a height of 2 m (6 ft), even at freezing -30 °C (-30 °F). Equipment failures are extremely rare when using this top-of-the-line model, and you can enjoy a correspondingly low total cost of ownership.
