The Honeywell ScanPal EDA5S is a lightweight and slim Mobile device that is visually and technically based on the Honeywell ScanPal EDA52, but moves more in the direction of an enterprise smartphone. The Honeywell EDA5S has a slim, smartphone-like design that appeals especially to companies that want to equip their employees with modern smartphones, but do not want to sacrifice robustness and reliability. Its exceptionally sleek and modern look makes the Honeywell EDA5S the perfect companion on the retail sales floor, in transportation logistics or for internal shipment tracking. For tasks that require both hands, the EDA5S easily slips into pants and jacket pockets. As the Honeywell ScanPal EDA5S is based on the EDA52, the EDA5S also comes to market with many innovations, such as extensive wireless connectivity, Android 11 or Honeywell´s Universal Cup.

The Honeywell EDA5S belongs to the new generation of the Honeywell ScanPal series and is equipped with a fast Qualcomm Snapdragon Octa-Core processor, which enables fast data processing and smooth playback of apps. In addition, the Honeywell ScanPal EDA5S has reliable wireless connectivity such as WLAN 5, 4G LTE, or Bluetooth, allowing employees to easily access corporate data. Although the Honeywell ScanPal EDA5S has more visual similarities to smartphones than to professional Mobile devices, the EDA5S has Honeywell´s latest 2D scan engine built into the head of the device. The powerful S0703 scan engine ensures fast and accurate barcode scanning of 1D barcodes and 2D codes even under the most difficult circumstances. Furthermore, the Honeywell ScanPal EDA5S has two integrated cameras on the back and in the front. The 13 MP rear camera helps you document damage, documents and more in high-resolution, whereas the 5 MP front camera is ideal for video communication.
